Rabbit Advocacy Animal Matters

Upon arrival, we immediately noticed the cardboard box they had been left in and a little white one nearby.  When we got closer the bunny hopped into the brambles to join his/her sibling.  The area was strewn with garbage and clearly occupied by several homeless people.  Rats scampered about as we set up the exercise pen and herded two of the babies inside.  Minutes later we got a third one but didn't see any others.  We left and came back an hour later, but still no sign of the elusive bunch.  However, luck was with us that evening and the last of the group was rescued.  The little ones are now safely in our care, and although a little shy, all are doing well.
